Bootcamp 1: Learn to Pitch from Stage Drama

    Date: 7 Mar 2024 (Thu)
    Time: 1130 – 1300
    Venue: TriAngle
    Partner: Addoil Workshop
    Language: Cantonese

On March 7, 2024, we hosted Bootcamp 1: Learn to Pitch from Stage Drama, an inspiring event that merged drama and social change. Students were unintentionally chosen as main characters in their story "Searching for their Dream," performed by actors from Addoil Workshop. Through stage performance, students learned persuasive pitching with expressive power. The workshop, conducted in English, Putonghua, and Cantonese, emphasized engagement, creativity, and impact. Attendees are immersed in an interactive setting, using theatrical techniques to communicate visions effectively. Reflecting on the event, our director summarized, "Pitching became a moving experience, unleashing the power of stories, the magic of sharing, and the art of expression." Thanks to Addoil Workshop, led by founder Franky Yau, for reminding us of the unstoppable force of a can-do spirit.
