Ready to unlock new skills, innovate, and work together with like-minded peers?

We're thrilled to announce a new initiative: the Triangle Genius Bar, your on-campus innovation hub!

Drop by TriAngle (DLB306), a welcoming space where students share knowledge, learn from each other, get guidance, and tackle challenges together. Our passionate student “Geniuses” are here to share their expertise in technological innovation, social good, and competition strategy to support your innovation journey. You are also welcome to simply use the space to work independently, and feel free to ask for help whenever you need it.

 

Get Involved: Participate or Lead!

1. Visit the Bar: 

Curious? Looking for support? Or just want to learn something new? Simply show up during our scheduled hours for: 

  • Consultation: 
    • Get advice and hands-on support to your specific projects or needs.
  • Mini Workshops: 
    • Drop in for 30-minute interactive sessions to quickly learn new skills and AI tools. 
  • Collaborative Problem-Solving: 
    • Connect with peers, find team members, and tackle challenges together in a supportive environment.
2. Becoming a TriAngle Genius: 

Passionate and skilled in a particular area? Eager to share your expertise with others?

  

 

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver one-on-one or group consultations.
  • Design and lead interactive quick workshops.
  • Mentor peers, share expertise, and foster exchange.
  • Contribute to a vibrant, welcoming innovation community. 

 

 

Who We're Looking For:

You should possess:
  • Demonstrated practical knowledge in at least one of these areas:
    • AI Tools & Applications: Proficiency with a range of AI tools across diverse applications such as design, creative media creation, data analysis, research support, productivity enhancement, etc
    • Social Entrepreneurship: Experience in social good ventures and impact.
    • Competition Strategy: A track record of success in innovation challenges.
  • Proactive & Engaging: 
    • Initiate conversations, eager to connect with peers, and offer guidance
  • Mentorship Mindset: 
    • Passionate about sharing knowledge and supporting others' learning journeys.
  • Language Skills: 
    • Fluency in English is a must. 
Preferred:
  • Academic Background:
    • Background in Computer Science, Art tech, Business, Social Science, Transdisciplinary major or any related field.
  • Teaching or Mentoring Experience: 
    • Prior experience in tutoring, teaching, or workshop facilitation.
  • Project Leadership: 
    • Experience leading student projects or initiatives.
