It is a social enterpreise that addresses the social issue of unemployment and stigma faced by high functioning individuals with special education needs (SEN) in Hong Kong, such as those with autism or learning disabilities. To address these challenges, the Project offers training and employment through baking workshops and dessert production, enabling SEN participants to improve their communication, teamwork, and workplace skills in a supportive environment.
By selling mooncakes and desserts during festivals, the project sustains itself while raising public awareness. Its broader impact includes reducing discrimination and enhancing social inclusion, ultimately supporting a more equitable community.
