ReCube

Over 70,000 tonnes of plastic tableware are disposed of annually in Hong Kong, contributing to ocean pollution and the depletion of landfill space. In response to this pressing issue, ReCube has introduced a groundbreaking initiative that provides a reusable tableware borrowing service. Additionally, they have implemented a green reward program designed to incentivize both diners and restaurants to decrease their reliance on single-use takeaway packaging.

By embracing the concept of reusing tableware, ReCube aims to foster a triple-win scenario: it offers convenience to diners, brings financial benefits to restaurants, and contributes to environmental sustainability. Through these efforts, ReCube is making significant strides toward reducing plastic waste, promoting eco-friendly practices, and fostering a more sustainable dining culture in Hong Kong.
