During the visit, participants learned how to turn recycled beverage cartons into toilet rolls and participated in an upcycling papermaking workshop.
The facilitator guided the participants to discover the problems and challenges that HKBU students encountered. By using the Design Thinking problem-solving method, they came together to brainstorm innovative solutions to tackle those problems. This workshop ended with a debriefing and discussion about the future collaboration with several participating organisations.
Participants made softmeals to learn how to restore the shape and taste of different dim sum dishes so that people with dysphagia could also eat with dignity. Besides, the founder, Queenie shared her entrepreneurial journey with the participants.
