To build connections with community partners such as NGOs and Social Enterprise in Hong Kong, a Design Thinking workshop was conducted on 8 Dec 2022. 17 representatives from 8 different organisations attended the workshop including Hong Kong Lutheran Social Service, Children’s Cancer Foundation, Hong Kong Shue Yan University, Hong Kong Christian Service, Christian Family Service Centre, Yan Oi Tong, Community Drug Advisory Council and Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company Limited.

The facilitator guided the participants to discover the problems and challenges that HKBU students encountered. By using the Design Thinking problem-solving method, they came together to brainstorm innovative solutions to tackle those problems. This workshop ended with a debriefing and discussion about the future collaboration with several participating organisations.
